I have recently got my eldest son to play golf with me after much convincing. He finds the sport a bit boring for a teenage like him, but since I would need to bring him along for some events and functions in the office he would need to be able to play well. Otherwise, it would be such a shame for me to be great in the sport and have my son to not know a thing even when it comes to the basics.

For starters, I got him some gear together with putters for beginners. This way, we can start on his posture and his swing before we move on to other things. I am sure that with enough patience on my part and his willingness to learn, he can be as great as I am. At least I would take pride in him whenever we go out in tandem and play a good round in the club.

When we play golf with our buddies, one of our dilemmas would be finding out which particular ball is ours after having to make a long distance shot. There are times when we would even be left arguing and confused as to which one is which. This can pose some inaccuracies in the game, and would result in much mix-up on the course.

They say that one of the ways by which to keep fit is to engage oneself in a particular sport. I have always loved golf even as a young guy, but eventually stopped as I focused on other things especially academics. Now that I am past thirty and was advised by my doctor to lose weight, I figured it was perfect for me to find something I live to do and get fit at the same time. This is hitting two birds with one stone.

As I need to get started right away on my new lifestyle, I needed to get some golf equipment which I would need. There were plenty of options online, which is my preferred option for going shopping since I don’t have time during the day. My busy work schedule is one of the reasons why I hardly have time to exercise, but this will change soon.
