Retirement Gift

My mom told me that dad’s final day at work will be next week. He has been working for the same company his entire life, as he valued loyalty very much. There will be a party to be held for him, to honor all the contributions he had given to the company. I was asked to attend the party and see for myself what my dad has done and has been up to for the past forty years.

I wanted to make sure I give him a little present for his retirement, and to congratulate him as well for all the things he has done. Since for sure he will have all the leisure time he deserves right at this point, I went ahead and got him some graphite golf clubs. I am sure that he will be enjoying most of his days now at the country club to play.

Hot Sun

There are times when my friends would invite me to play golf during the weekends and I simply could not say no. They would always ease me that I no longer have the time for them because of my busy schedule, so I make sure that I get to meet with them every once in a while. I also need some time off from work and be able to unwind every now and then.

There are instances though when the weather is really uncooperative and the sweltering heat is really too much to take. This is the reason why I always make use of a golfing umbrella so that I can have a bit of shade while we are on the course. This allows me to protect myself from the harsh sun and potentially save me from any health risks.

Time To De-Stress

Since I usually work long hours in my home office, there are certain instances when I feel really stressed and strained that I can’t seem to concentrate on my work. I am the type of person who would not stop until I finish off something, but in life nothing can ever be done and finished off right away. I often end up really tired that I can no longer do anything much because of the strain I feel.

This is the reason why my wife had gotten me artificial golf greens and placed the same inside my home office. This way I can simply get off my chair and get one of my clubs to play for a few minutes in order for me to relieve myself of the pressure I may be felling at the moment. This always helps me to get right back and concentrate in finishing what I need to do.

All Set

My son has just received word that he had won a scholarship in college all because of golf. I never really thought that this was possible, since most of the schools would usually engage in scholarships for more prominent and popular sports such as football or basketball. I never anticipated this one around especially since my son never really mentioned much of it.

At least something good came out of his passion for the sport, and he is now earning all the hard work he had committed on in the past. I wanted to make sure that my son knows how proud I am of him, so I got him this GPS mount which my husband had recommended me to get. I am sure that more than me, my husband who was my son’s first golf mentor is proud of my son’s achievement.

More Practice

I have to admit that compared to my friends in the office, there is simply a whole lot of practice I would need before I can actually be as good as they are in golf. I have only started playing for less than a quarter of a year, so I am a work in progress. Just the same, I look forward to being able to improve in time and be able to beat them at their own game.

I make use of a golf putting training aid at this point in time to help me with my drive. I would need to practice more often and this would mean taking a lot of time in the process. I am sure that my friends have all been noticing the change in the way I play these days, especially when the best one of them has complemented me on how fast I have improved since the time I started.

Meeting the Deadline

After having been too busy at work, I was finally able to book a trip back home to see my parents. My mother has reprimanded me many times for having missed out thanksgiving and Christmas, all because I needed to be at work on those days. As a chef, I hardly can afford to take off from work especially during the most important occasions of the year.

My dad’s birthday is coming up, so I was told that I had to be there or risk not having any of my parents to come and talk to me anymore. I got my dad this Bushnell Hybrid Golf device he had been asking for but was not able to get for him last Christmas. At least this visit will somehow make up for the times I missed out on important occasions. What is important is the fact that I am always thinking of them no matter how far I may be.

Anniversary Surprise

My husband has been playing golf for many years now, as this is the one thing which allows him to remain fit and get connected with the industry figures the company he runs is engaged in. He was not as enthusiastic with golf back in the days, particularly since he lacked exercise and would often end up panting only after a few minutes in the course. Nowadays you can hardly get him off from playing golf.

For our upcoming anniversary, I figured that the one thing which will keep him really happy is by getting him the left handed golf putter which he has been eyeing for quite some time now. I remember telling him not to buy a new one since he had already invested in a lot of golf gear and equipment already, with no place left in the basement. I am sure that he will get the surprise of his life when he finds out what I got for him.

My dad is one avid golf player. He has been hooked on this sport when the first company he worked for would always hold annual golf tournaments. He needed to be able to play in order to mingle with clients, colleagues and even the executives. He has been a great golfer all these years which is why most of his friends in the industry would always be all praises with how he plays.

Since he is retiring really soon, I know that he is a bit sad with having to say goodbye to the busy life he actually enjoyed. As a retirement gift, I decided to give him this Diablo Edge Driver which I ordered online, since I knew this was one of the things which can remind him of the good old days. Retirement does not mean that he can no longer play golf. In fact, he has more time in the world to head out to play whenever he pleases.

My dad is celebrating his 50th birthday real soon, and I need to make sure that I get to pick out something that he can use regularly. I have wanted to get him something related to his favorite sport, which is golf, since he spends most of his time these days out on the course. This is his way of getting some exercise done and to also get to mingle with a few business associates and esteemed clients.

He already has quite a number of clubs in his collection, so I decided to work with something else which can work the same for him. I decided to get a golf distance finder Bushnell for him which I am sure he will find very useful. My dad would really appreciate this gift I have for him, especially since this will help him improve his game.
